• Bring snow gloves: they are compulsory on the slope and not rented out, though the desk sells a pair for €10
• Under-12s need an adult with them on the slope, except during lessons and courses, so one grown-up should plan to gear up too
• Group lessons start at 5 for skiing and 7 for snowboarding, and are taught in Spanish; younger kids can start with a private lesson

A real-snow slope covering 18,000 m² inside the Madrid Xanadú mall, kept between -6°C and -2°C all year. Kids ride giant rubber donuts down three ice tubing lanes, try snowbikes, or learn to ski and snowboard on the beginner slope before moving up to the expert run, the chairlift and the snowpark jumps. Boots, skis or board, and a helmet come with every ticket.
