• The bigger playground sits on Avenida del Planetario, a short walk from the dome; a second, smaller one is on the Calle Titán side of the park
• Lookouts behind the amphitheater at the top of the hill, with a view down the old stream valley toward Parque Lineal del Manzanares
• Bike paths and a bouldering wall: a bike lane winds through the trees, and the wall under the entrance bridge has climbing holds for older kids

Parque Enrique Tierno Galván covers 45 hectares of grassy hills. Kids roll down the slopes, ride the bike paths, cross the walkways over three ponds and climb to the lookouts behind a 5,000-seat open-air amphitheater. Two playgrounds sit inside the park.

The Planetario de Madrid is here too, so a dome show and a run on the hills fit into one morning.
