• First-Sunday workshops for kids 6 and up, where they match everyday objects to the minerals they come from (no July or August)
• Step-free entry by a ramp beside the main door; ask the guards at the entrance

A 19-meter-tall hall under a stained-glass ceiling, ringed by wrought-iron balconies and spiral staircases, with 5,800 minerals and more than 12,000 fossils on display. Kids spot meteorites, gemstones, crystals from every Spanish region, and fossil animals and plants going back to the Precambrian. An elevator also reaches the upper galleries.
