What you need to know
- Families: come the last weekend, since the opening cabaret and the weekday shows are billed for adults
- No booking for family shows, seats go first come, first served until the space is full, so arrive a little early
- Saturday has the most, with an installation, a puppet-making workshop and two shows back to back in Parque Amós Acero
About
Titirimadroño is Madrid's international puppet theater festival, held each fall in Puente de Vallecas. Much of the week is for adults, but the closing weekend is made for families: puppet shows in a park and indoors, a hands-on puppet-making workshop, and play installations built from recycled materials. Some shows add Spanish Sign Language or live audio description, and every space is wheelchair accessible.
