Original title
Peter Pan - El Musical
What you need to know
- A sequel, not a retelling: Peter is grown up with a daughter of his own, so kids who know the story still get a new one
- Hook is funny, not frightening, so the pirate scenes work for most preschoolers
- Mostly midday shows, which leaves time for lunch out in Malasaña afterward
About
A family musical that picks up Peter Pan's story years later. Captain Hook has kidnapped Peter's daughter, Maggie, so a grown-up Peter flies back to Neverland with Tinker Bell, Wendy and the Lost Boys to get her back. Ten actors play nearly twenty characters, with live singing, dance and acrobatics. Hook gets more laughs than screams, so it suits kids who already know the classic and want a new chapter.
