Yes. Entry is free, but you register on Eventbrite, and it is free until the hall reaches capacity.

Will my kid follow it without much Spanish?

It is a scripted comedy in Spanish, so the story leans on words. The circus and music help, but kids with little Spanish will miss a lot of the jokes.

Who is behind the show?

It is written by Emiliano Dionisi and directed by Cristian Coria, and presented by the Embassy of Argentina in Spain with the Centro Cultural Puerta de Toledo.

About

Papanatas is a family comedy inspired by Molière's The Blunderer, and the winning show of the Ensayos Abiertos con Público 2026 call. The Argentine Embassy brings it to Madrid. Writer Emiliano Dionisi and director Cristian Coria mix circus, street theater, music and humor in the spirit of commedia dell'arte. It is played in Spanish, so it suits kids who can follow a comedy in Spanish.
