Do we stay in our seats?

No. It is a walking visit: the group follows the clowns through the inside of the theater, with live music along the way, for about an hour with no break.

Is it wheelchair and stroller friendly?

The Price lists physical accessibility for this visit. Ask the box office about strollers on the route when you book.

Yes. The theater has its own staffed parking at Calle Sebastián Elcano 25, for ticket holders from 30 minutes before the start until the end.

What you need to know

One Sunday a month, with two visits that day, so dates are few
Book ahead, the 1pm visit on October 18 is already sold out
A walk, not a seated show, so kids follow the clowns through the building for the hour

About

A walking show through the inside of Teatro Circo Price, Madrid's historic circus theater. Two clowns, Adoquín and Pasmarote, and a clown musician playing live take a group of "clown trainees" through the building and its 150-year story: how the circus started, who made it possible and how it came to Madrid. It suits kids who like clowns and exploring a building more than ones expecting a big-top show.
