No, they are booked separately. They run Oct 24, 25 and 31 and Nov 1, 11am to 2pm, for families with kids 3 to 14, led by the zoo's educators and vets. They cost €39.90 for anyone 8 and up and €29.90 for ages 3 to 7, zoo entry included. They need a minimum group, so call 91 154 74 79 (ext. 3) to confirm a spot.

Can we bring a packed lunch?

Yes, but you can only eat in the zoo's set eating areas. The restaurant terraces are kept for people who bought their food there.

Is there a deal if we also want to visit Faunia?

Yes. The Zoo Madrid plus Faunia pack is €39.90 per person, one full day at each park, valid any open day until Dec 31.

About

Every fall, Zoo Aquarium de Madrid in Casa de Campo runs a Halloween season. Some animals get their food inside pumpkins, an enrichment trick that makes them work for the treat, and educators give themed talks on the creatures behind spooky legends and the threats they face in the wild. It is about animals, not frights, so it suits animal lovers more than kids chasing scares.
