The Abedular de Canencia is a rare birch forest at the foot of the Sierra de la Morcuera, mixed with yews, hollies and oaks that turn gold in fall. The loop passes a mossy spring and the Chorrera de Mojonavalle, a waterfall that runs strongest after rain or snowmelt.

It suits kids who can walk a few hours on a forest track.
