About
Madrid's regional government runs ¿Tienes plan para el verano?, a summer program of sleepaway camps for teenagers, through its youth department. Most stays are at regional youth hostels in the Sierra de Guadarrama (Rascafría, Cercedilla, El Escorial), with a few elsewhere in Spain.
Themes run from multi-adventure and canoeing to circus, film and hip hop. Places go by lottery, and each teen gets one camp per summer.
