What you need to know
- Best after the original: it picks up with Glinda, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Lion, so kids who know the story get more from it
- Themes for older kids: growing up, friendship and respecting people as they are, more than a simple fairy tale
- Two actors, video scenery: Laura Rico and Unay Ferrer play the story against video projections and an original score
About
Spin Oz is a new sequel to The Wizard of Oz. Dorothy is now a teenager, tired of being treated like a child, when another tornado sweeps her back to Oz, where the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Lion need her help. Two actors tell the story, backed by video projections and original music. Its themes of growing up, friendship and accepting yourself suit school-age kids and tweens.
