Do parents join in or drop the kids off?

Join in. The festival pitches it as a workshop to create in family, so plan to stay and build alongside your kid.

Can we watch a show afterward?

Yes. Nina Theatre's table-and-mouth puppet show Pon tu corazón starts at 12pm in Parque Amós Acero, and other festival shows run in the park and at CC Lope de Vega that day.

It is an outdoor workshop in late October, when Madrid can see showers. The festival has not posted a rain plan, so check its site or social channels that morning.

About

A hands-on family workshop from the Titirimadroño puppet festival, run with the local Asociación Barró. Kids and parents invent creatures and build them as puppets from paper bags, recycled materials and markers, then the puppets join the park as new residents. It suits families who like making things together. Puppet shows run in the same park the same morning, so it pairs well with a performance.
