How much does the ice rink cost?

In 2025-26 a 30-minute turn cost €6.50 with skates included. Gloves are required (€1.60 if you don't bring your own) and walkers for small kids cost €2. Tickets were sold on navidadmadrid.com, entradas.com and at the rink. Prices for 2026-27 aren't out yet.

Do we need a ticket for the nativity?

Entry is free, but last season you picked up a timed ticket at the box office or booked online for a €0.50 fee, in 30-minute slots. It was open 10:30am to 7pm, closed on Mondays and on Jan 1, with short hours on Dec 24, 25 and 31.

Can we do both in one visit?

Yes, they're in the same building. Book the skating turn first, since slots fill on weekends and holidays, then walk through the nativity.

What were the rink hours last season?

From Dec 20 to Jan 5 the first turn was at 11:20am and the last at 8:50pm, with turns every 30 minutes. On school days before the holidays it opened at 4:20pm, and on Dec 24 and 31 the last turn was at 5:20pm.

City Hall turns its own building into a Christmas stop. Under the glass roof of the Galería de Cristal there's an ice rink, with skates in the ticket and walkers for kids finding their feet. In the old post office hall next door, the city's big nativity runs from the cave to a waterfall and lake. Both are indoors, so it holds up on a cold or rainy day.
