What you need to know
- In Spanish, the whole show is performed in Spanish
- A play about growing up, with themes school-age kids will pick up more than toddlers
- Quirky supporting characters, including a traveling peddler who trades odd objects and gives Mina a new pair of glasses
About
Mina is a determined girl who sets off to learn the secret of life. She tries being an apprentice astronomer, gardener, museum worker and magician, then meets Miguel, a boy hunting for stories to keep the Island of Macadamia from sinking into the ocean. The play is about growing up and, like a swallow, always finding the way home. It suits kids who enjoy a quest with odd characters.
