Is it the Disney story?

No. It's a new plot built on Dodie Smith's novel: Cruella is an influencer and Anita runs a viral account for her dalmatians. Kids will recognize the characters, not the cartoon's story.

Are there real dogs on stage?

No. The dalmatians are life-size puppets worked by performers on stage.

About

A hip-hop musical take on Dodie Smith's story, told by Cruella de Vil as a social media influencer fighting to keep her crown after Anita and her dalmatians go viral. Expect big dance numbers, life-size dog puppets, urban remixes of familiar songs and a party finale that gets the audience up and dancing. The plot leans on fame and followers, so older kids follow it best.
