What you need to know
Worth knowing about if you live in Usera and need cover for both a young child and an early teen, since it runs up to 2nd year of ESO.
- Free in 2025-26, with breakfast, morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack depending on arrival time
- All days or none: in 2025-26 kids had to attend all eight days
- Who gets in: from age 3 (second cycle of infant school) to 14, living or at school in Usera, with working parents; a lottery decides if it fills
About
Usera's district-run winter camp, held in three public schools across the district. Kids spend the school-free days on games, workshops and group activities, with meals served according to arrival time. It is one of the few district camps that also takes young teens, so siblings of different ages can go together. It suits working families who live in Usera or have kids at school there.
